The Cooke Legacy: Chapter Thirty Five - Blondes Have More Fun

Welcome back to The Cooke Legacy! This chapter is written by ilovereecee/Katie. I first want to say thank you for coming to read the update and that I'm thrilled to be playing this family again. Haleigh and I have a good group of sims with this Cooke bunch. They are a blast to play! I hope that you enjoy reading about them as much as we enjoy playing them!

In the last chapter you saw Nate, the generation N heir, and his wife Arcadia welcome five beautiful blonde children. First to be born were twins Owen and Odette. Then came Oliver, and after that another set of twins: Orlando and Otto. Now the kids are all grown up and in college. So let's pick up there.



First I'll start out with a reminder of who is who since it's been a little bit since you've seen them. In the top picture we see Owen, the first born, on the left. Odette, (the heiress, who won with all of the votes from SiMania!) is in the middle. Oliver is on the right side. On the bottom picture is twins Orlando, on the right, and Otto, on the left. Now that we've got that straight - I'll hand the narration over to our heiress Odette!



Well, we've just moved into our new three bedroom/one bathroom home in La Fiesta Tech. It's a smaller community college, but Orlando and Owen insisted that we go here. I think it has more to do with the parties and wild girls that are here instead of the education they can get. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't one of them who first found interest in a girl! Jane Stacks happened to be walking by our new house when Otto was taking out the trash. Otto immediately introduced himself, he is extremely social by nature, and found that he was intensely attracted to Jane.



In fact, they had a great time with each other on that first night of meeting. They talked for hours! Otto normally isn't very playful, be he enjoyed tickling and playing red hands with Jane. At the end of the night, Otto even struck up the courage to give Jane a kiss! It was his very first kiss. College is turning my baby brother kind of wild! I can't believe he kissed someone he just met!


"You know you're pretty fugly right? I'm not sure why they let you be a cheerleader. Normally those types of girls are super hot. But not you. Guess the school was just being nice when they let you on the team."
Owen't isn't having much luck with the ladies. It's pretty much the complete opposite of how Otto and Jane are doing. Then again, Owen is much, much meaner than our little brother. Still, if my twin hopes to have any good dates, he better learn to put a censor on that mouth of his!



Our personalities are really starting to shine through now that we're in college. We don't have our mom Arcardia and dad Nate to do everything for us. Orlando has already taken on the cleaning tasks. I don't see what the big deal is really though. So what if the toilet isn't flushed or there is water on the ground? Who cares if plates are left out? Everyone but Orlando agrees.*

*Orlando is the only child of the five who has ten neat points. Everyone else has one. And it shows!! This house becomes pretty nasty, pretty quickly!


Otto and Jane are still seeing each other. I'm not sure if they've made it official or not, but they've been hanging out a whole bunch on campus. They enjoy spending time together and doing fun things around the school.


Jane brings out the playful side in Otto for sure! My brother isn't a grouch or anything, I've just never seen him enjoy a pillow fight before Jane came along! Maybe they're meant to be together. . . who knows!


"Jane, I've never seen you this happy before. I think you've found a winner with this one. And he's super cute too. That's a plus!" The bartender, who apparently was friends with Jane, joined in conversation with Jane and Otto on their date.

"You know he's got three brothers. Maybe I can hook you up!" Jane suggested.


Later that night after dancing, drumming and many drinks, Otto planted a big kiss on Jane. That was the moment they fell in love. My brother suggested Jane come back to our house that night. She agreed.



Like so many other college students, alcohol acted as a catalyst for my brother Otto's first woohoo with his love! But even in the morning when all was said and done, Otto still felt madly in love with Jane. So when they both woke up, he dropped to one knee!

"Janie, I love you! In this past semester since we've met, I've been the happiest guy in the world! Say you'll marry me! Will you, Jane Stacks, be my wife?"

"Oh Otto, yes, yes I will!!"

And with that, my brother and Jane dropped out of school to start their own lives together.



The next one of us to find love was none other than my twin brother Owen! He was set up on a blind date with Katy Ajjanagadde. She's quite a bit older than her, so at first I didn't see why my brother was so attracted to her. But once I saw them interacting together, Katy doesn't act her age at all! She gets along with my brother just fine.


The morning after their blind date, Owen couldn't wait to see Katy again. So he invited her over after breakfast. She quickly came over and they enjoyed an afternoon of dancing, chatting and quicly fell for each other.



It wasn't very long before Owen knew that Katy was the one for him.

"I know that we've only been dating for a very, very short time. But you're the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. You're fun, smart and I love spending time with you. So, will you marry me Katy?"

"Well that was a mouth full of compliments, wasn't it!? But yes, I will marry you Owen!"

And with that Owen dropped out of La Fiesta Tech to move in and start his life with Katy by his side.


Oliver has started bringing home one girl in particular to study with. Her name is Joy Seavy, and if I'm not mistaken, I think my little brother has a crush on her!



It looks like I was right! I knew all along they weren't just hanging out so they could study. Call it a woman's intuition, I figured they were crushing on each other.


"Joy, you have the perfect name. Because you bring so much joy into my life. You're the only one for me, I've felt it since we first met. Please make me the happiest man in the world and say you'll be mine forever?"

"Of course I will, Oliver. I love you more than words can say!"

Oliver, my younger brother, was the next to leave his college home in hopes of starting a new life with his one true love. I can't believe my brothers are finding their other halves so quickly. I hope I will be as lucky.



"Say has anyone ever told you that you look a lot like Legolas from Lord of the Rings?" Danille Lillard asked of my brother Orlando when they first met on their blind date. I laughed when he told me this, my brother gets that alot!

I was especially surprised, but happy, so see that my brother and Danielle fell in love just a few short hours after meeting for the first time! I guess when you know, you know!


"Danielle, I want to be your Legolas for the rest of you life. I want to protect you no matter what happens. Come thick or thin, I want us to be together as husband and wife. Say you'll marry me?"

"You're so silly! This is crazy. I can't believe this, but yes! I'll marry you."

So the same day Orlando and Danielle were introduced, they promised forever to each other. Orlando moved out to be with Danielle and start their lives together.



Well I have some good news! It only took three years of college, but I think I may have finally found the one! He's a new freshman at La Fiesta Tech and his name is Derek King. He's got beautiful green eyes, thick brown hair and a strong jaw. He's very handsome, as I told him when we first met. I'm amazingly attracted to him; it's almost as if he were made for me!*

*So Haleigh/meadowthayer and I have had this planned since before Odette was born! We both like the movie The Swan Princess and decided that if/when a little girl was born into the family, she would be named Odette. And of course, that if she became heiress she would marry a man named Derek. Hence, our Derek King being made, as Odette said, just for her :)


Derek seems to be just as attracted to me as I am to him. I don't want to toot my own horn, but I think we make a pretty great couple. I can already feel myself falling in love with him!



Just as quickly as my brothers and their now fiancee's fell in love, it happend the same with Derek and me.

"Odette, we were made for each other. I know we're supposed to be together for the rest of our lives. I don't even have to ask, because I know you feel the same way. I want to present this ring as a token of my never ending love for you."

"Derek, it's beautiful!" I couldn't believe it was finally my time to get engaged. But before we explore that any more, Derek and I are moving out of college and back home to Cooke Valley to start our lives together. While we do that, let me update you on my brother's lives after dropping out of college. We'll start with Owen since he's the oldest:


Owen, my twin brother, and his fiancee Katy moved into a small two bedroom home together in Cooke Valley. They had a bit of money saved up, so they used it to completely furnish and decorate their new home.


After using all their money on the new home, they didn't have any left over for a wedding. So they had a simple wedding without any guests in their own living room. Katy is now Mrs. Owen Cooke and I have my first sister in law!!



Katy is too old to have any children, which is fine with my brother because he's never particularly had his heart set on having any kids. But, they did want to have the pitter patter of little feet in the house. Or, I guess I should say paws! Katy and Owen adopted two dogs. A big male named Leroy and a small female named Dakota.


Owen and Katy are enjoying a carefree lifestyle as newlyweds. They help themselves to lots of time on the bubble blower and even have a bar in the kitchen. Life without children is treating them just fine. Owen says he loves being married to Katy - it's the most fun he's had in his life!


Leroy and Dakota had puppies! They were named Dennis, Mike and Lola. Owen and my sister-in-law Katy sure are going to have their hands full now!


I was so proud when Owen called to tell me that he achieved his lifetime want! He is now a professional party guest. Sounds like a blast to me! Now that I've caught you up on my twin, let's go to the next oldest spare. That would be my brother Oliver.


Oliver moved in with his fiancee Joy Seavy right after dropping out of college. They are so cute together and I'm happy that my romance minded brother wasn't too commitment fearing and accepted love into his life.



My parents were the only guests at Oliver and Joy's wedding. They said their vows and my brother welcomed a wife into his life. He didn't even fear the marriage! I think his secondary family aspiration has something to do with it.



Shortly after their wedding, my brother and sister-in-law welcomed two new additions to the family! No, not kids! I still don't have any nieces or nephews, but Oliver adopted two dogs! They were named Amigo and Senora.


It wasn't long before a baby was born into the family though! I'm now the proud aunt of a handsome little boy! Baby Patrick was the first child born into the P generation of my family. Isn't he adorable!? He got a good mix of both parents, I think.



Oliver tells me that Patrick is a complete joy in his life. My little nephew enjoys playing with his two dogs and of course interacting with his parents. Oliver says Pat likes to dance along with the tunes Joy plays on the piano.



Pretty soon little Patrick wasn't so little anymore! He's all grown up and attending school now. He still continues to be a joy in my little brother's life. I'm proud to have such a sweet and smart nephew.


Now that I've shown you Oliver's life, let's move on to my other little brother Orlando. if you remember, he met his fiancee Danielle on a blind date. Now they're happily living together in their new home.



Orlando and Danielle are definitely party people! They spend alot of time with my other wild brother Owen, and his wife Katy. They drink and dance and have a good time mostly. I don't even think Orlando and Danielle are planning their wedding - they've been so busy partying.


But the party days quickly came to an end when Danielle found out she was pregnant! I'm going to be an aunt again!! Orlando made an honest woman out of his fiancee and they said their vows in their small kitchen just days before the baby arrived.


Danielle gave birth to a little boy they named Paul! I now have two little nephews!! Paul looks so much like his mother it's crazy! I think the only thing he got from Orlando was his blonde hair.


Despite Orlando being a romance aspiration, he really enjoys being a dad. He's always calling to tell me when Paul learns something new. I think he's just a little proud ;)


Paul didn't stay little forever though. All too soon he'd grown from a tiny toddler to a big boy. Now he parties just as hard as his parents - minus the drinks of course!



Last, but not least, with my family update is little Otto. My youngest brother was the first one of us to fall in love in college. He and Jane decided on a quick ceremony in their new home with just the two of them.


Wanting to start their family right away, Jane and Otto adopted two of Owen's puppies. Mike and Lola are all grown up now however. They're no longer little!


Soon, Jane added another family member to the family. She gave birth to their first boy Peyton. That makes three nephews for me now!

Shortly after Peyton arrived, a little brother was welcomed into the family. Prescott completed Otto and Jane's happy family. I can't believe I have four nephews! I wonder if this means I will have all boys too?

Well, that's it for an update on my four brothers! Since I'm the heir I've got a lot of work ahead of me: getting a great job, getting hitched, acheiving lifetime wants and popping out the next generation! I'd better get started.
